Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Lowal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowal comes to the ring accompanied by KING KING KING. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lowal shoots in looking for a takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl out of it but Lowal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Belfort manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Belfort attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lowal throws a big shot that misses.
Lowal misses with a body shot.
Lowal throws a jab but it's blocked by Belfort.
Belfort lands a head kick!
A head kick misses from Belfort.
A slapping body kick lands there for Belfort.
Lowal fails with a takedown attempt.
Belfort tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belfort scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Lowal takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Lowal thuds a left hand into Belfort's body.
Belfort slips under a jab from Lowal.

Lowal takes a kick to the side of the head.
A jab-cross combination lands for Belfort and sends Lowal crashing to the mat! Belfort follows him down to the mat - Lowal regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Well, if Belfort is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Oh Lowal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lowal seems to have got his legs back now.
Belfort seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lowal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Horrible takedown by Lowal or perhaps it was just good defense by Belfort which made him look bad.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Belfort throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lowal's head.
Belfort uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Belfort bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Belfort throws a sloppy head kick and Lowal moves out of range easily.

Lowal takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Belfort throws a leg kick which misses Lowal's front leg but catches the back leg as Lowal tries to avoid it.
Nice combo by Belfort! Oh, that's hurt him - Lowal falls to the canvas and Belfort follows him into side control.
Belfort stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Donk. Belfort catches Lowal right on the button with a cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lowal steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Belfort. That one must have hurt.
Belfort has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Belfort throws a head kick that half lands.
Belfort buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lowal walks forward, straight into a front kick from Belfort.
Belfort throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lowal. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lowal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Belfort.
Bas Belfort is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Belfort misses with a wild combination.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Belfort. Lowal shrugs it off though.
Belfort scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Bas Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bas Belfort showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lowal takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lowal blocks a head kick by Belfort.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Belfort - that will leave a mark!

and Belfort counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lowal is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The fighters circling - Lowal throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Belfort throws a right hand that Lowal ducks under and follows up with a left that Lowal also avoids with ease.
Lowal throws a sloppy body shot
and Belfort counters with a left and a right that stings Lowal.
Belfort lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lowal can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Belfort and Lowal drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Belfort.
