And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ole Fred Ray!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ray scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Ray seems to be working for a kimura but Robbins defends the submission attempt.

Ray is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Robbins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ray.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ray throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Robbins to regain full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ray is looking to advance position but Robbins has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ray is desperately trying to improve his position but Robbins has a good base and remains in mount.

Ray has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Robbins should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ray has tightened it up now! Robbins should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
