Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Womack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fletcher Coleman has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fletcher Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Womack!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman tries a head kick but it misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Womack. Coleman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coleman tries to counter with a takedown but Womack is quick to defend against it.
Womack digs a good body shot into Coleman's ribs.
Womack throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman.
As Womack tries to get set, Coleman tries to push him back and clinch up but Womack manages to avoid the attempt.
Womack lands a jab-cross combination.
Coleman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Womack.
Coleman attempts a counter takedown but Womack avoids it well and moves away.
Coleman avoids the body shot from Womack.
Womack's coach down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Womack's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Womack rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coleman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Womack throws a looping overhand right but Coleman ducks down to avoid it.
Womack fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Womack throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Coleman clinches up with Womack and pushes him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Coleman.

Coleman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coleman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Womack scores with a shot to the body.
Coleman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Womack.
Womack connects with the punch.
Womack looks to throw the jab but Coleman is out of range.
Womack misses with a left hand

and Coleman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The referee calls for Coleman to work.

Coleman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Coleman manages to end up in side control.
Coleman scores with punches from side control.
Womack is trying to control Coleman's posture but Coleman avoids it.
Womack is looking for a sweep.
Coleman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Womack wants to control but Coleman postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Womack might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coleman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Womack tries to bench press Coleman off him but Coleman keeps the position.
Coleman looks up at the clock and then as Womack takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Coleman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Coleman moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Womack tries to buck Coleman off but Coleman is having none of it.
Womack on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Coleman working away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Womack tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Coleman presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Womack is in all sorts of trouble here.
Coleman looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Womack can't escape the position.
Coleman controlling from mount.
Coleman continues to stall.
Womack tries to lock up and control but Coleman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Coleman in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Coleman is landing with some decent strikes but Womack is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Womack tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Coleman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Womack can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Womack is trying desperately to improve position.
Coleman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fletcher Coleman dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Womack swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Coleman clinches up against the cage.

Coleman manages to pull guard.

Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Womack doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Coleman is tightening it up a little... Womack has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Womack reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Womack taps out! Nice BJJ there by Coleman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Fletcher Coleman!
