Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brendon Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jhon Connor! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis lands with a slapping head kick. Davis blocks a low kick nicely. Davis moves into the clinch. Davis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Connor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Davis swats away the attempt to clinch by Connor. Davis wants to clinch up but Connor keeps it at a distance. Connor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Davis quickly recovers to half guard. Davis wants to improve his position but Connor is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis is holding on to half guard well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Connor thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Davis trying to control but Connor postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis desperately trying to maintain half guard. Connor thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Davis's head. Davis is looking for a sweep. Connor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Connor with the ground and pound but Davis uses the opportunity to regain guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Davis holds on and takes a little breather. Connor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Connor trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Connor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Davis looking to control.
Connor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Connor is fighting to break Davis's control of his arms but Davis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Connor swinging wildly here.
Connor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Connor shoots in and bounces Davis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Davis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Davis trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis has momentary wrist control but Connor slips an elbow through the middle. Davis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Connor throws a big elbow that misses. Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davis pulls Connor in close to his closed guard and prevents Connor from doing any damage or advancing position. Connor throwing strikes but missing. Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet. Davis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Davis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Connor is one step ahead there. Connor trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Connor throwing strikes but missing. Davis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Davis controlling Connor's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Davis misses with a combination
and Connor counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Davis badly! Connor follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Davis out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Connor finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jhon Connor!
