The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Maddox there.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nelson is defended easily by Maddox.
Maddox appears to be looking for a big counter.
Maddox throws a jab but it's blocked by Nelson.
Maddox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away.
Maddox drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maddox is looking for the KO!
Nelson is rocked!
It looks like Rock Nelson has been cut.
Maddox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Alfalfa Meal in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maddox sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Nelson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Maddox gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Nelson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
