Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Klincko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Dillinger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Dillinger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Klincko! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Klincko as he checks the leg kick. Klincko misses with the combination.
Klincko throws a nice looking combination but Dillinger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dillinger misses with a hook. Klincko ducked under it nicely. Klincko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dillinger.
Klincko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Klincko throws a quick inside leg kick. Klincko scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Klincko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dillinger tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Klincko is in Dillinger's guard. Dillinger has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Klincko is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Klincko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dillinger gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dillinger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dillinger takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dillinger stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Klincko. Dillinger throws a series of punches but Klincko moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillinger tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dillinger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Klincko. Dillinger throws a chopping leg kick but Klincko manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Dillinger moves out of range as Klincko throws a body kick.
Klincko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Dillinger throws a leg kick but Klincko checks it. Klincko checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Klincko misses with a series of wild punches.
Klincko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Klincko fails in his attempt to clinch. Dillinger jabs Klincko right on the nose. Klincko blinks but takes it well. Dillinger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dillinger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Klincko as he avoids it easily. Dillinger tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dillinger thows a leg kick but Klincko checks it and Klincko counters with a left and a right that stings Dillinger. Klincko blocks a jab. Klincko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dillinger tries to work over Klincko's front leg with a kick but Klincko checks it. Klincko takes a swing at Dillinger's ribcage but misses. Klincko works the jab nicely. Klincko needs to keep his hands up - Dillinger had a free shot at his head there. Dillinger misses with an uppercut. Dillinger throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Klincko displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Klincko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillinger moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dillinger looks to throw the jab but Klincko is out of range. Klincko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Klincko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dillinger. Donk. Dillinger catches Klincko right on the button with a cross. Dillinger looks to land a right hand but Klincko moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Klincko misses. Dillinger closes the distance but Klincko moves to the side and Klincko makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dillinger really felt that one! Dillinger's jab looks to have found its range, popping Klincko under the eye. Klincko misses with a takedown attempt - Dillinger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Klincko closes the distance and pushes Dillinger back into the cage. Dillinger lands with a short head shot on the inside. Klincko tries to score a body lock takedown but Dillinger shows good agility there to stay on his feet. John Dillinger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Klincko. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Dillinger blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Klincko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dillinger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Klincko somewhat. Dillinger feints and then cracks Klincko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Klincko down. Dillinger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klincko's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dillinger stopping the sweep attempt from Klincko. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klincko looking to control.
Dillinger throws a big elbow that misses. Klincko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillinger is one step ahead there. Dillinger tries to free his leg and advance position but Klincko is retaining full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dillinger trying to control the position from guard on top but Klincko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dillinger works over Klincko with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Dillinger will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A left lands for Dillinger. Dillinger throws a series of punches but Klincko avoids them all with ease. Dillinger moves out of range of the body kick from Klincko.
Klincko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Klincko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dillinger. That did some damage! Klincko misses with a low kick. Klincko tries to clinch up but Dillinger circles away and keeps his distance. Dillinger lands a lovely overhand right. Dillinger staying out of range there. Klincko avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Klincko throws a low kick, looking for Dillinger's leg but Dillinger calmly moves out of range. Klincko gets caught flat footed, as Dillinger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Klincko keeping full guard, as Dillinger tries to pass. Klincko is trying to keep Dillinger in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dillinger scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dillinger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Klincko wants to stand and escape but Dillinger is having none of it. Dillinger postures up in Klincko's guard and throws a big left but Klincko blocks it. Dillinger trying to control but Klincko is working from the bottom. Dillinger prevents Klincko from getting back to his feet. Klincko is trying to control the position but Dillinger postures up. Klincko lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dillinger is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Dillinger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Klincko's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Klincko looking for a sweep. Not yet Klincko, not yet. Klincko keeps trying to improve his position. Klincko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dillinger lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dillinger stopping the sweep attempt from Klincko. Dillinger trying to control the position from guard on top but Klincko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dillinger postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Klincko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillinger is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dillinger's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dillinger postures up and lands a big shot to Klincko's brow. Dillinger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dillinger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Klincko can do to turn this around? Dillinger is in close to Klincko's body, working some short punches and elbows. Klincko looking for a sweep. Not yet Klincko, not yet. Klincko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dillinger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dillinger distracts Klincko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dillinger chips away with some ground and pound. Dillinger lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dillinger trying to control but Klincko is working from the bottom. Klincko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dillinger defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klincko looking for a sweep. Not yet Klincko, not yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dillinger accidentally thumps the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dillinger stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Klincko has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Dillinger manages to get his head free but now Klincko has transitioned to an armbar! Dillinger grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Klincko! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dave Klincko! Dave Klincko really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
