Pei has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Pei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marailov on the side of the head.

Marailov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pei throws a sloppy head kick and Marailov moves out of range easily.

Pei stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Wei Pei seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Pei tries to throw a body punch but Marailov avoids it by throwing Pei back against the cage.

Marailov has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Marailov drops his hands momentarily and Pei needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Marailov just on the top of the head. Marailov drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Marailov - he's done!
