Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuma Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hughtavious Mingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes into the arena with The Sound of Silence blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuma Nelson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hughtavious Mingo! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson scoring well with a low kick there.
Mingo throws a shot from downtown. Nelson moves away and avoids it. Nelson throws a quick inside leg kick. Mingo throws a right hand that misses
and Nelson counters with a nice uppercut. Mingo darts in trying to clinch and Nelson counters with a low kick, right behind Mingo 's knee. Mingo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Nelson counters with a straight right hand. Nelson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nelson thumps Mingo with a low kick. Nelson throws out a leg kick but Mingo moves out of range and Nelson only half commits. Mingo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nelson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mingo really felt that one! Nelson connects with a right hand. Mingo shakes it off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nelson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mingo at a distance.
Hughtavious Mingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mingo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nelson looks to land a body kick but Mingo moved away. Mingo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mingo drops his hands momentarily and Nelson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mingo is rocked! Nelson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mingo bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Nelson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Mingo falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Mingo was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kuma Nelson! Kuma Nelson retains his light heavyweight title! During a confident post fight interview, Kuma Nelson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
