Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carmen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sinéad O'Connor - The Foggy Dew. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Carmen catches Palmer right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Mario Palmer has been cut.
Carmen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Carmen lands a big right hand that sends Palmer crashing to the mat! Carmen stays standing though and waves Palmer back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carmen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carmen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Palmer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carmen misses with a straight left.
Carmen throws a monster overhand right that drops Palmer! Carmen follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Carmen!
A determined Shane Carmen didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
