The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in for a takedown but Gurgel shows good takedown defense.

and Gurgel counters with a head kick. That will keep Alves thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
