Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaka Baring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Wills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baring comes to the ring accompanied by Goyang Dumang. Wills has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaka Baring! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Wills! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wills takes one on the button. Baring misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baring darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Baring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wills wants to clinch. Baring wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Wills shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baring as he jumps to the side. Baring slaps away a takedown attempt from Wills, before circling back to the center of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wills stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baring. Baring ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wills chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Baring can pounce on him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wills looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jaka Baring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Wills. Wills takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Baring fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wills looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Baring lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Wills's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Baring connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wills scrambles back to his feet. Wills swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Baring throws a sloppy head kick and Wills moves out of range easily. Jaka Baring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wills takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wills throws out a leg kick but Baring moves out of range and Wills only half commits. An attempted straight right counter from Baring misses the target. Wills tries a head kick but it misses.
We've been told by Baring's head coaches at Madz **21 Elite coaches** that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Wills throws a body shot but no joy. Baring thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wills if he has to take too many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baring scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baring moves out of range of the strikes. Baring digs a good hook to Wills's body.
Wills shoots in for a double leg but Baring sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wills looks winded! Baring throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wills on the side of the head. Nice body kick from Baring. A punch lands to the side of Wills 's head but he takes it in his stride. Wills looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wills gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Baring thuds his right hand into Wills's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wills is rocked! Wills drops his hands momentarily and Baring takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wills is still on wobbly legs! Can Baring finish him? Wills gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Baring gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Wills is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaka Baring! During a confident post fight interview, Jaka Baring thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Joe Wills spoke after the fight, saying 'Well Try Better Next Time'.
