The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silveira lands a nice shot that snaps Mccarty's head back.
Mccarty dives in and scores a takedown into Silveira 's guard.
Silveira is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mccarty dives into side control.
Silveira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mccarty. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Silveira wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Mccarty looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Mccarty content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Mccarty is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silveira looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mccarty gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silveira is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mccarty lets go of the hold and Silveira can pop his arm back in it's socket.
