0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dillie Mcfly! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfly is looking to clinch. Machiavelli stuffs the takedown attempt from Mcfly. Mcfly gets slowly back to his feet. Mcfly wants to clinch up but Machiavelli keeps it at a distance. Mcfly wants to clinch. Mcfly is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mcfly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machiavelli, pushing him back against the cage. Mcfly manages to break the clinch.

Machiavelli backs away looking to recover. Machiavelli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mcfly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machiavelli pinned against the cage. Machiavelli gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Machiavelli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mcfly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ezio Machiavelli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dillie Mcfly. Machiavelli decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Machiavelli looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mcfly is staying active underneath Machiavelli, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mcfly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Machiavelli. Machiavelli is looking to take a break and control but Mcfly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Machiavelli throwing shots but Mcfly is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Machiavelli is working for a kimura but Mcfly is defending it quite comfortably.

Machiavelli looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mcfly is fending him off so far but Machiavelli persists. Nope, Mcfly circles away and we're back to standing. Mcfly stuffs the takedown. Mcfly throws a right hand that Machiavelli ducks under and follows up with a left that Machiavelli also avoids with ease. Mcfly closes the distance and lands a one-two. The fight stays on the outside here - Mcfly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mcfly fails with the takedown and Machiavelli counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mcfly! Machiavelli has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Mcfly is forced to tap!
