Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Layne Staley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksi Borga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Staley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Alice in Chains - No Excuses. Borga has chosen People In Planes - Last Man Standing as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borga throws a nice looking combination but Staley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Borga throws a right and a left that both miss.
Borga wants to clinch up but Staley keeps it at a distance.
Borga misses with an uppercut. Staley saw that one coming.
Borga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Staley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Borga wants to control but Staley is keeping busy.

Borga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Staley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Staley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Borga jabs Staley right on the nose. Staley blinks but takes it well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Borga makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Staley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Borga throws out the jab.
Borga thows a body shot but no joy.
Staley gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Borga.

and Borga counters with a stiff right hand.
Borga lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Staley at a distance.
Borga throws a big shot that misses.
Staley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Borga.
Borga uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Staley has time to react.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Borga knocks Staley out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
