Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drowning Pool- Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knox drives through with a takedown into Johnson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Knox wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Johnson postures up in Knox's guard and throws a big left but Knox blocks it.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Johnson wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Knox closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.

Knox will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Knox is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Knox has escaped and now he's on top!

Knox is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Johnson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Knox is looking to defend but Johnson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Knox! Johnson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Knox taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alec Johnson!
An out of breath Alec Johnson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
