The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tahuna throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sobral keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sobral misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tahuna connects with a leg kick. Sobral looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Tahuna fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sobral looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tahuna thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sobral if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tahuna has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

It looked like Sobral wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sobral accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sobral was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tahuna works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Tahuna.

Tahuna cracks Sobral with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Tahuna cracks Sobral on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Sobral falls backwards against the cage. Tahuna follows up with more strikes that drop Sobral to his knees. Tahuna keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Sobral! This one is all over!
