The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banicki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Banicki wants it to stay on the feet. Banicki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mullins sprawls well initially but Banicki persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Banicki is looking to take a break and control but Mullins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mullins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banicki on the ground. Mullins is trying to stand back up but Banicki is controlling him
Banicki in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mullins tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Banicki !
