Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, All American!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a half hearted mid kick.
American tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Johnson throws a series of punches but American moves out of range.
American just misses with a punch to the body.

American throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and American finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells American's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Johnson working for a triangle but American defends it easily.
American keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Johnson's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Johnson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and American has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from American and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
American shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

American uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.
All American is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

American feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in American - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Johnson!
