Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snoop Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lion's choice of entrance music: Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takeshi Yuudai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Snoop Lion!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai lands with a nice body punch.
Lion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yuudai swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yuudai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Yuudai lands a slapping body shot.
Lion fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yuudai jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Lion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yuudai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lion throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Yuudai is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Lion has gone for a leg lock! Yuudai slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lion's guard.
Lion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Yuudai controls the pace.

Yuudai continues to stall.
Lion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yuudai is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Yuudai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lion swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lion looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yuudai is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lion doesn't manage to clinch there - Yuudai circles away.
Yuudai works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Snoop Lion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Yuudai counters with an outside leg kick.

Lion doesn't manage to clinch there - Yuudai circles away.
Lion is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yuudai. Lion shrugs it off though.

Yuudai fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lion just manages to avoid it.
Yuudai thuds his right hand into Lion's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A jab lands there for Yuudai.
Yuudai lunges at Lion with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lion's hand.
It looks like Snoop Lion has been cut.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yuudai.
Lion doesn't manage to clinch there - Yuudai circles away.
Yuudai turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lion is looking to clinch but Yuudai is avoiding it.
Lion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yuudai swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yuudai lands a nice hook to Lion's body. Lion takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lion takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Yuudai scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Yuudai lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Lion has Yuudai up against the cage in a clinch.

Lion is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yuudai gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Takeshi Yuudai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snoop Lion.
Lion is working for takedown but Yuudai is calmly controlling the position for now.

Yuudai lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lion backwards.

Yuudai lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Lion to his knees! Yuudai keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takeshi Yuudai!
Takeshi Yuudai decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
The defeated Snoop Lion had this to say: 'Time to hit a blunt... puts everything in perspective...'.
