The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolek cracks Washington with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Washington looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kolek finish him?
Washington is rocked!
It looks like Nestor Washington has been cut.
Washington drops his hands momentarily. Kolek doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Washington staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Washington doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
