Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuai Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Liang's choice of entrance music: So Cold by Breaking Benjamin. Kuai Liang is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liang throws a low kick, looking for Bishop's leg but Bishop calmly moves out of range.
Liang changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Liang on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Kuai Liang has been cut.
Liang swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Bishop feints and then cracks Liang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Liang down.
Bishop gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Liang digs a right hand underneath Bishop's ribcage. Bishop let out a lung full of air as it connected.
I was talking to Bishop's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Liang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Liang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Arthur Bishop.
