Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Shiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Run This Town. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shiro drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Jackson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
It looks like Ken Shiro has been cut. Jackson fails to pull guard.
Shiro fails to pull guard.
Jackson lands a takedown into guard.
Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson preventing the sweep. Jackson postures up in Shiro's guard and throws a big left but Shiro blocks it. Shiro looking to control.
Shiro looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shiro throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shiro on the ground. Jackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shiro works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shiro looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.
Shiro looks gassed! Jackson lands a couple of elbows. Shiro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jackson controls the pace. Jackson wanted to stand there but Shiro had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shiro tries to land a sweep but no joy. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson advances position into side control! Jackson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shiro down.
Shiro trying to control but Jackson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Jackson lands strikes to the head. Jackson lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Shiro is rocked! Jackson is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Shiro is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Jackson!
