The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gable.
Gable throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Gable lands with a kick to the temple. Gunines shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Gable throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gunines was covering up waiting for the punch and Gable finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gable connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gunines some visible discomfort.

Gunines is doing well to control the position and prevent Gable from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunines is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gable wants to free his trapped foot but Gunines is holding on for dear life with his legs.
