Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Kushman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dozer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Kushman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Dozer! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kushman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dozer tries to avoid it but Kushman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dozer to the ground. Dozer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kushman throws a hook but Dozer avoids it easily. Kushman swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dozer counters with a three punch combo that has Kushman backing up. Kushman nods at Dozer to acknowledge the strikes. Dozer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kushman. Kushman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dozer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dozer closes the distance and pushes Kushman back into the cage. Dozer slowing the pace effectively. Dozer breaks from the clinch.
Kushman darts in looking for a takedown but Dozer gets double underhooks and turns Kushman into the cage. Dozer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kushman looks to land a right hand but Dozer moved out of range. Kushman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dozer defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Kushman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kushman misses the shot to the body. Kushman looks to throw the jab but Dozer is out of range. Dozer with the counter takedown but Kushman avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dozer gets the takedown into side control. Kushman is not content to let Dozer control the position. Dozer happy to just control the position for now. Kushman is trying to improve his position. Dozer content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Kushman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dozer tries to get to full guard but Kushman has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dozer is trying is best to control the position here. Kushman tries to pass to full mount but Dozer defends it. Kushman throwing shots but Dozer is blocking nicely. Dozer controlling the position for now. Dozer wants to get back to his feet. Kushman is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kushman looking to control and managing it successfully. Kushman wants to take Dozer's back but he can't do it this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kushman punching from mount but Dozer doing a good job of avoiding damage. Kushman looking to control but Dozer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. BOOM! Kushman connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've been hearing that Kushman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Dozer prevents any damage by holding on tight. Kushman landing strikes from the mount. Kushman lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kushman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dozer is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kushman thowing shots but they're missing. Kushman wants to control the pace but Dozer is squirming around nicely. Dozer just holding on. Kushman looking to land elbow strikes but Dozer uses the position to regain half guard. Dozer trying to control but Kushman postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dozer wants to improve his position but Kushman is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Larry Kushman will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kushman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dozer. Kushman scores with a jab. Kushman goes for a double leg but Dozer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dozer continues to drive forward. A shot to the liver by Dozer. Beautiful body shot. Dozer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kushman. Frank Dozer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kushman jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kushman takes a swing at Dozer's ribcage but misses. Dozer clinches up with Kushman and pushes him back against the cage. Dozer is leaning against Kushman and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Dozer jumps guard and drags Kushman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Kushman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dozer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kushman. Kushman wants to pass the guard but Dozer is keeping the position. Dozer managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dozer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kushman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kushman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dozer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kushman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dozer trying to strike off his back.
Kushman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dozer keeping moving, preventing Kushman from controlling successfully. Kushman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kushman throws an off balance right hand
and Dozer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dozer trying to land knees to the body.
Kushman tries to land knees in the clinch but Dozer avoids the damage to the body. Kushman tries a body shot but Dozer blocks it.
Dozer gets control of Kushman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dozer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kushman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dozer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dozer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dozer! Kushman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kushman's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dozer takes a little break here. Kushman wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kushman is not content to let Dozer control the position. Dozer decides to stand back up. Dozer steps back and let's Kushman get back to his feet. Kushman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dozer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kushman has his takedown stuffed and Dozer counters with a three punch combo that has Kushman backing up. Kushman nods at Dozer to acknowledge the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kushman lands a jab. Kushman throws a body shot but no joy. Kushman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kushman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kushman throws a hook but Dozer avoids it easily. Frank Dozer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kushman tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dozer counters with a straight right hand. Kushman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dozer throws out a counter right but Kushman avoids it with no problem. Dozer forces Kushman back against the cage and clinches. Dozer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kushman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dozer circles away quickly and effectively. Kushman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dozer doesn't seem bothered though. Kushman wants to clinch. Kushman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dozer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Dozer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Dozer looking to score a takedown here. Kushman is defending well but Dozer drives through and ends up in Kushman's guard. Dozer postures up and lands a big shot to Kushman's brow. Kushman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dozer stacks Kushman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dozer! Kushman tries to bench press Dozer off him but Dozer keeps the position. Dozer working away. Kushman tries to improve position but can't. Dozer is looking to take a break and control but Kushman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kushman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dozer easily slips into full mount! Frank Dozer has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dozer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kushman reaches up to try and control the position but Dozer seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kushman rolls and tries to escape and now Dozer has his back!
Dozer punches Kushman on the ear. Dozer looking to break Kushman's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kushman remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Dozer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Kushman trying to control but not successfully. Dozer struggling to keep hold of the position.
Kushman wants to escape the position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Dozer has Kushman flattened out and is raining down punches. A bit of a pause in the action here. Dozer controlling the positon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kushman is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kushman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dozer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dozer's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dozer scoring with some ground and pound. Kushman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dozer defends well. Dozer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dozer prevents Kushman from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kushman has an active guard here but Dozer has managed to pass into half guard.
Kushman wants to get back to full guard but Dozer has mounted him! Kushman in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Dozer lands a heavy elbow. Dozer controlling the pace for now. Kushman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dozer is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kushman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kushman is looking to get to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dozer looking to control and managing it successfully. Dozer with the ground and pound from mount.

And that's the end of the fight! Frank Dozer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dozer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
