The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong misses with a hook.
Jeffries ducks right into an uppercut from Armstrong.
It looks like Jaxon Jeffries has been cut.
Jaxon Jeffries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armstrong bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jeffries's head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jeffries can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Armstrong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jeffries lands a nice shot that snaps Armstrong's head back.
Jeffries scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Armstrong doesn't seem bothered though.
Jeffries shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Armstrong sprawls well. Armstrong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jeffries gets slowly back to his feet.
Armstrong looks to score with a jab to the body but Jeffries is just out of range.

Jeffries ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Armstrong moves away.
Armstrong cracks Jeffries with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A telegraphed right hand from Jeffries misses the target.

Good exchange - Armstrong coming out on top.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Armstrong cracks Jeffries with a left hook right on the temple and Jeffries goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Armstrong lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Jeffries is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Diesel Armstrong!
