McGuinness has chosen Foggy Dew / Hypnotize Remix as his entrance music. Anderson Silva is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circling - McGuinness throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As McGuinness looks to move away, Silva throws a big counter combo but McGuinness just gets out of the way.

McGuinness misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGuinness, as that shot connected.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuinness lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silva can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from McGuinness and Silva drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by McGuinness.

After the fight, Connor McGuinness was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
