The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mambo pushes Roll up against the cage in a clinch.
Roll takes an elbow to the forehead.
Still in the clinch, Mambo scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Mambo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mambo has hold of one of Roll's legs. Roll is fighting the takedown attempt but Mambo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roll has his foot on Mambo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mambo works his way back into a safe position though.

Roll isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mambo stacks Roll on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mambo!

Mambo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roll to the mat! Roll manages to get full guard.

Mambo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roll has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mambo has managed to get both his arms back between Roll's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
