Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Seung Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brick Seung Jin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seung Jin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Landry keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Seung Jin's efforts to push away.
Seung Jin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Landry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Seung Jin moves into range and clinches up with Landry.

Seung Jin tries to break free but Landry pushes him back against the cage.
Seung Jin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Seung Jin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Landry is refusing to be controlled, as Seung Jin sits in half guard.

Seung Jin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Landry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Seung Jin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Landry advances to half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Landry fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Seung Jin throws out a counter right but Landry avoids it with no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brick Seung Jin will probably get the nod.

Seung Jin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Landry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Landry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Landry!
