Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maycon Jardim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chung Dunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maycon Jardim! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Jardim does no damage. Jardim looks for the body kick but Dunn saw that one coming. Dunn seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Dunn could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jardim. Jardim is staying tight to Dunn's torso, preventing him from escaping. Dunn looks to move to half guard but instead Jardim has passed into mount! Damn! Jardim tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunn is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jardim controlling the position easily from mount. Dunn is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dunn is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jardim tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jardim landing shots from mount. Jardim looking to control and managing it successfully. Dunn regains half guard. Jardim slips a nice elbow through Dunn's hands, connecting with Dunn's forehead. Dunn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jardim stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn tries to get to full guard but Jardim has control of the leg. Jardim controlling the pace. Jardim slips a nice elbow through Dunn's hands, connecting with Dunn's forehead. Jardim content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dunn looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jardim is taking a breather. Dunn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Dunn wants to improve his position but Jardim is controlling well.
Jardim is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jardim slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maycon Jardim dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jardim leaves Dunn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jardim unleashes a big counter combination but Dunn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Jardim closes the distance and pushes Dunn back into the cage. Dunn is trying to pull guard but Jardim has him pressed against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jardim. Jardim successfully pulls guard.
Dunn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jardim wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jardim being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jardim's head. Dunn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jardim has Dunn pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jardim is continuing to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jardim shoots in and drives through. Dunn sprawls well. Jardim has closed the distance and engaged Dunn in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jardim pulls guard successfully.
Jardim is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jardim pulls Dunn in close to prevent any damage. Jardim has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jardim striking from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jardim has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dunn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jardim has tightened it up now! Dunn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
