Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia with a hook.
Huia scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gates has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Huia finds it's way round the side to connect with Gates's head.
Huia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been told by Huia's head coaches at Kombat MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oooooh!!! Huia has knocked Gates down with a huge combo! Huia steps away and waves a wobbly Gates back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gates is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gates with a lazy takedown attempt
and Huia counters with a huge left! Gates is in big trouble! He's backing up but Huia isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gates from any more damage. A dominating finish by Huia!
