The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonhson throws a body shot but no joy.

Angelov moves into the clinch.

Jonhson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jonhson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Angelov defends well.

Angelov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Jonhson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Angelov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Chase Angelov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lamar Jonhson.

Jonhson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Angelov parries the strikes from Jonhson easily there. Jonhson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Angelov to escape.
Angelov is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jonhson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Jonhson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Angelov to see if he's OK.
Jonhson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Angelov is avoiding damage well.
Angelov wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Jonhson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jonhson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jonhson is looking to take a break and control but Angelov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Angelov is pushing Jonhson's head away, looking to escape. Jonhson manages to hold on to the position though.

Jonhson has an Americana. Angelov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jonhson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jonhson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
