Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fingal Logan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Murphy! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Logan closes the distance and pushes Murphy back into the cage. Murphy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Logan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Logan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Murphy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Logan has managed to clinch.
Logan scores with an uppercut up the middle. Logan lands a left hand.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Logan. Murphy is looking for a takedown. Logan lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Murphy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Logan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Logan stuns Murphy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Murphy gets caught napping as Logan dives in and scores a takedown. Murphy manages to retain guard. Logan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Logan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Murphy for as long as he can get away with. Logan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Logan advances to full mount. Logan controlling his opponent. Logan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Murphy looks a forlorn figure.

Logan throws a leg kick which misses Murphy's front leg but catches the back leg as Murphy tries to avoid it. Logan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Murphy can do to turn this around? Logan connects with a jab. Murphy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Logan looking to score a takedown here. Murphy is defending well but Logan drives through and ends up in Murphy's guard. Logan looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Logan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Logan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fingal Logan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Murphy throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Logan won't allow Murphy to sweep him here. Logan works over Murphy with some ground and pound from guard. Logan controlling from the top position. Murphy trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Murphy being controlled here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Murphy dives in for a single leg takedown but Logan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Murphy shoots in for a takedown but Logan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Logan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nice cross by Logan. Horrible takedown attempt by Murphy or perhaps it was just good defense by Logan, which made it look bad. Logan stuns Murphy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Logan connects with a body shot that sends Murphy's belly button to the back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A solid leg kick lands there for Logan.

Murphy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Logan connects with a body shot that sends Murphy's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Logan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Logan uses his free foot to push down on Murphy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Murphy. Logan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Logan landing punches. Logan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Logan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
