The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen scores with the left hand. Ferdum knows he should have avoided that one.

Ferdum swings widly with a right hand
and Sonnen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ferdum thinking.
Ferdum misses with an uppercut.
Ferdum slips under a jab from Sonnen.
Ferdum is looking to counter punch.
Ferdum catches Sonnen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sonnen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ferdum was well out of range. Poor timing from Sonnen.
Ferdum tries to counter with a takedown but Sonnen is quick to defend against it.
Ferdum throws a big shot that misses.
Ferdum gets caught napping as Sonnen dives in and scores a takedown. Ferdum manages to retain guard.

Ferdum pushes a forearm under Sonnen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Sonnen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
