Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Enki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lu Kuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Master Enki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Lu Kuan!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Enki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kuan.
Kuan stuffs the takedown attempt from Enki. Enki gets slowly back to his feet.
Master Enki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Enki takes the fight into the clinch.
Enki misses with an elbow strike.
Kuan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kuan digs a good hook to Enki's body.
Kuan feints a jab promting Enki to slip. Kuan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Enki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kuan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Enki.
The fighters circling - Kuan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Enki throws an off balance right hand
and Kuan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Enki moves out of range as Kuan throws a body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kuan throws a head kick but Enki moves out of range.
Enki just misses with a punch to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kuan.

Kuan connects with a leg kick. Enki looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

It looks like Lu Kuan has been cut.

Enki cracks Kuan with a right hand to the side of the head.

Enki shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kuan eats them both and turns towards Enki to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Lu Kuan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kuan circles away from the clinch attempt.
No luck for Enki with that takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Kuan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Enki has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Kuan throws a head kick that misses.

Enki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Enki counters with a two punch combo.
Enki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kuan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuan throws a chopping leg kick but Enki manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Enki misses with a head kick.
Enki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kuan throws a leg kick but Enki moved away.
Enki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kuan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kuan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Enki gets the takedown into side control.
Kuan explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Kuan connects with a high kick.

and Enki counters with an outside leg kick.
Enki tries to clinch but Kuan moves out of range.

Kuan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Enki throws an overhand right that lands on Kuan's shoulder, as Kuan tries to avoid the shot.

Enki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kuan did well to prevent Enki getting side control.
Kuan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Enki wants to control from the top but Kuan keeps moving.
Enki is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kuan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kuan throws a push kick but Enki slaps the foot to one side.
Kuan tries to clinch there but Enki circles away.

Enki moves out of range of the body kick from Kuan.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kuan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kuan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kuan throws a hook but Enki blocks it.
Kuan forces Enki back against the cage and clinches.

Enki comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Kuan has a couple of punches blocked by Enki.
Enki prevents Kuan from breaking the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Enki closes the distance and clinches up with Kuan, looking for a takedown. Enki pushes Kuan against the cage but Kuan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kuan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Enki shoots for a takedown but Kuan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kuan appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Enki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kuan was covering up waiting for the punch and Enki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Enki postures up in Kuan's guard and throws a big left but Kuan blocks it.
Enki passes Kuan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Enki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kuan!
Kuan is squirming around, avoiding Enki's attempts to control the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuan is defending against the submission attempts here by Enki.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Enki working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Kuan's thigh. Kuan counters though and makes it back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kuan has closed the distance and engaged Enki in a clinch.
Kuan scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kuan lands a right hand.
Enki lands a left hand.
Enki lands an elbow just above Kuan 's eye.
Enki tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kuan manages to break the clinch.
Enki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kuan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kuan misses with a head kick.
Enki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kuan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown attempt by Enki or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuan, which made it look bad.
Kuan tries a quick counter leg kick but Enki is wise to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Master Enki will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
No joy there for Enki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Enki takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kuan moves forwards but Enki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kuan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Enki works over Kuan's head and body with a nice combination.

Enki shoots in for a takedown but Kuan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Enki dives in for a single leg takedown but Kuan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Enki clinches up with Kuan and pushes him back against the cage.

Enki pushes off an throws an elbow but Kuan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Master Enki.
I think Enki has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
