Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Egon Wildfang!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The freek circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wildfang tries to clinch up but The freek circles away and keeps his distance.
The freek throws a right hand that Wildfang ducks under and follows up with a left that Wildfang also avoids with ease.

Wildfang closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wildfang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The freek is just riding it out for now. Wildfang eventually gives up the hold.
Wildfang uses his free foot to push down on The freek's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for The freek.

Wildfang is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But The freek has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from The freek!

The freek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wildfang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wildfang is on top in guard.

Wildfang drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wildfang jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The freek can't keep his opponent in guard - Wildfang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Let's hope that Wildfang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wildfang looking to control but The freek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Despite being in the dominant position, Egon Wildfang just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
