Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Berserk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers comes into the arena with Cyco Vision blaring out of the sound system. Stan Rivers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thor Berserk!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berserk looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Berserk has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rivers finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Berserk doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Rivers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rivers moves forwards but Berserk connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Berserk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Stan Rivers will probably get the nod.

Thor Berserk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stan Rivers.
Well Rivers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
