Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fletcher Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Weber has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fletcher Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Weber! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman misses with a body kick. Weber moves into the clinch successfully.
Coleman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Weber jumps guard and drags Coleman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Weber preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Coleman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Coleman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Weber has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman's corner is telling him to maintain position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Weber can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weber seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Weber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Weber pulls Coleman in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A head kick misses from Coleman. Weber misses with a shot to the body and Coleman moves into the clinch. Weber stalling in the clinch.
Weber has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Coleman after a bit of a struggle. Coleman stalling in the clinch but Weber improves position. Weber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coleman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jason Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weber fails with a takedown attempt. Fletcher Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Weber. Weber looks for a takedown but Coleman sprawls well. Weber darts in looking for a takedown but Coleman gets double underhooks and turns Weber into the cage. Coleman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Weber's calf. Coleman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Weber misses with an uppercut. Coleman saw that one coming. Weber wants to clinch up but Coleman keeps it at a distance. Coleman gets tackled into the cage by Weber. Weber maintains the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber jumps guard but Coleman stands there with Weber around his waist. Weber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Weber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coleman leaves Weber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Weber closes the distance and clinches. Weber is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Coleman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Weber lands a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman looking for a guillotine here but Weber defends easily.
Weber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Coleman throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Weber content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weber trying to control but Coleman is working from the bottom. Weber tries to stand but Coleman is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Fletcher Coleman will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Coleman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Weber shoots in looking for a takedown but Coleman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weber's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Weber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coleman as he jumps to the side. Coleman stuffs the takedown. Fletcher Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Weber. Coleman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Coleman tries to close the distance and clinch but Weber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Weber has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Coleman throws a push kick but Weber slaps the foot to one side. The fight stays on the outside here - Coleman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weber takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Weber closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Coleman letting Weber take a breather here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Weber. The crowd are getting on Weber's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Weber misses with a hook from the clinch. Weber manages to pull guard.
Coleman won't allow Weber to get back to his feet. Coleman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Weber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman throwing strikes but missing. Coleman is standing up over Weber. Weber looks to escape but Coleman dives into side control.
Coleman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Weber has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weber struggling a bit here. Weber tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coleman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Coleman is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Coleman looking to ground and pound but Weber is blocking nicely. Weber is looking to improve his position but Coleman isn't that keen on the idea. Weber tries to hold on but Coleman pushes him away. Coleman prevents Weber from getting the reversal. Weber regains half guard. Coleman throwing shots but Weber is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Weber has hold of Coleman's hands but Coleman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Weber wants to improve his position but Coleman is controlling well.
Coleman tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Coleman controlling the action here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Weber misses with a left hand and Coleman counters with a three punch combo that has Weber backing up. Weber nods at Coleman to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fletcher Coleman dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Coleman pushes Weber up against the cage in a clinch. Weber breaks from the clinch.
Weber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coleman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Weber avoids a kick to the body.
Weber shoots in but no luck this time. Coleman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Coleman is looking to clinch but Weber is avoiding it.
Weber shoots in and drives through. Coleman sprawls well. Coleman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Weber sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Coleman clinches with his opponent.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Weber.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of stalling here from Weber.
Weber gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Coleman regains guard.
Coleman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Weber manages to get himself to full guard.
Coleman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coleman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman trying to control but Weber is working from the bottom. Weber pulls Coleman in close to his closed guard and prevents Coleman from doing any damage or advancing position. Coleman connects with a couple of short punches. Coleman tries to stand but Weber is controlling from the bottom. Weber wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weber trying to keep a closed guard but Coleman is proving a slippery customer.
Weber pulls Coleman in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coleman wants to stand and escape but instead Weber has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Coleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman scoring with strikes to the body and head. Weber is trying to stand.
Weber is controlling Coleman's position as best he can from this difficult position. Coleman is trying to control the action in half guard but Weber is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Coleman performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fletcher Coleman. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coleman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
