Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Flint Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Ukkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lumberjack Song. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maximus Ukkeli!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Morgan misses with a body kick.
Ukkeli looks to score with a jab to the body but Morgan is just out of range.
Morgan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ukkeli manages to circle out of the way.
Ukkeli takes a swing at Morgan's ribcage but misses.
Ukkeli moves in looking to clinch but Morgan pushes him off.
Morgan moves out of range as Ukkeli strikes.
Morgan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Ukkeli counter with a right hand.
Morgan throws a leg kick but Ukkeli moved away.
Ukkeli pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Morgan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Morgan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ukkeli. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ukkeli moves away from the strike by Morgan.
Ukkeli staggers Morgan with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Morgan looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A good leg kick by Ukkeli.
Flint Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ukkeli uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morgan.
Ukkeli swats away the attempt to clinch by Morgan.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ukkeli moves out of range of the body kick.
Ukkeli throws out a counter right but Morgan avoids it with no problem.
Morgan throws a solid leg kick but Ukkeli takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Morgan.
Morgan doesn't manage to clinch there - Ukkeli circles away.
Ukkeli throws a leg kick which misses Morgan's front leg but catches the back leg as Morgan tries to avoid it.
Morgan wants to clinch up but Ukkeli keeps it at a distance.
Ukkeli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It appears Morgan was looking to counter with a kick there.
Morgan connects with a right hand. Ukkeli shakes it off.
Ukkeli misses with an uppercut.
Morgan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Morgan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ukkeli cracks Morgan with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Morgan is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Morgan is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Morgan could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Maximus Ukkeli!
