Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boitsoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalid Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boitsoff kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is My Domination. Hayes has chosen Flight of Icarus as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

35 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Khalid Hayes! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayes misses with a looping right. Boitsoff misses with a body shot.
Boitsoff slips a straight right by Hayes. Hayes misses with a lunging right hand
and Boitsoff counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Boitsoff tries to pass to full mount but Hayes defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hayes is defending against the submission attempts here by Boitsoff.
Boitsoff wants to pass the guard but Hayes is defending well. We've been hearing good reports from Boitsoff's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hayes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boitsoff looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boitsoff looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Boitsoff tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hayes's legs.

Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Hayes is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Boitsoff off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Hayes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
