Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Garrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordon Garrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Harris! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris tries to clinch up but Garrison circles away and keeps his distance. Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Garrison counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Harris! Harris tries to buck Garrison off but Garrison is having none of it. Garrison prevents Harris from escaping the position. Harris is looking for a sweep. Garrison tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Garrison tries for a kimura but Harris is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris tries to bench press Garrison off him but Garrison keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Harris is pushing Garrison's head away, looking to escape. Garrison manages to hold on to the position though. Harris is trying to get back to half guard. Harris taking a bit of punishment here - Garrison scoring with strikes. Harris stuck in half guard on the bottom here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Harris is looking for a kimura here.

Garrison makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Harris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harris showed some decent athleticism there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris is trying to control the action in half guard but Garrison is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Harris not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garrison looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garrison is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard. Garrison controlling the position well. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harris wants to free his trapped foot but Garrison is holding on for dear life with his legs. Harris prevents Garrison from standing back up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Garrison shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harris manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Harris controlling Garrison's posture. Garrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Harris tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gordon Garrison dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Harris shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Garrison throws a counter high kick but Harris was just alert enough to avoid it. Harris clinches. Harris fails to pull guard.

Harris with a poor takedown and Garrison counters with a thumping low kick. Gordon Garrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Harris. Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garrison paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrison manages to break the clinch.
Harris shoots in and bounces Garrison off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garrison looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harris won't allow Garrison to sweep him here. Garrison wants to get back to his feet but Harris is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Harris postures up in Garrison's guard and throws a big left but Garrison blocks it. Harris missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harris throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Garrison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Garrison wants to get back to his feet but Harris is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Garrison tries to keep at a distance but Harris has taken the fight into the clinch. Garrison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Harris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Garrison to score an easy takedown into full guard. Garrison is fighting to break Harris's control of his arms but Harris is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garrison cracks Harris with a solid left hand. Garrison works over Harris with some ground and pound from guard. Garrison is working Harris over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Harris is looking to sweep but instead, Garrison has passed into half guard.
Harris wants to get back to his feet. Garrison working Harris over with strikes. Garrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Harris misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Garrison wants to stand but Harris has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrison working over Harris with some ground and pound. Harris looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Harris has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Garrison is working away from the top position though. Gordon Garrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Garrison is looking for a kimura here.
Harris flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gordon Garrison dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Garrison fails to land the takedown. Garrison slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat. As Harris backs away, Garrison returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris dives in for a single leg takedown but Garrison sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gordon Garrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Harris. Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Garrison circles away.
Garrison tried to counter with a leg kick but Harris avoided it. Garrison is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Harris can do to turn this around? Harris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries to clinch but fails miserably and Harris takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Garrison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Garrison lands strikes from half guard. Harris is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Garrison scores with a couple of nice shots. Harris on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Garrison thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Harris avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Garrison. Harris is pressing down on Garrison's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris wants to sweep but no luck. Harris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Garrison throws an elbow that misses. Harris uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Garrison's guard. Nice move by Harris! Harris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Garrison is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Harris dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Garrison is looking to reverse the position. Garrison can't do much from the bottom here. Garrison is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Harris off and has taken his back! Garrison not allowing Harris to control his hands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris fending off the submission attempt from Garrison. Garrison lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. You can see the frustration on Harris's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Garrison is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Harris. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garrison lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harris is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Garrison is staying active. Garrison stands up and beckons Harris to join him on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Gordon Garrison showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Garrison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
