Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tinky Winky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tinky Winky has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tinky Winky!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winky ducks under a wild hook from Willis.
Willis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Winky pushes Willis up against the cage in a clinch.
Willis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Winky is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Winky gets underhooks to prevent Willis's takedown attempt.

Willis breaks from the clinch.
Winky misses with a straight left.
Winky misses with a combination
and Willis counters with a three punch combo that has Winky backing up. Winky nods at Willis to acknowledge the strikes.
Willis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winky's waist but Winky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Willis off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dom Willis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Winky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Willis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Willis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Winky throws a body shot but no joy.

Winky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Willis seems to have got his legs back now.
Winky looks to score with a jab to the body but Willis is just out of range.

Winky throws a leg kick but Willis sees it coming and moves out of range.
Willis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Winky wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Winky lands a really nice looking cross but Willis seems unphased.
Winky misses with a looping right.
Willis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Willis attempts a counter takedown but Winky avoids it well and moves away.

Willis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Winky's half guard.

Willis is stalling here. Winky is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Willis seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Winky has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Winky working away.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Willis is not content to let Winky control the position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Winky gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Willis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Willis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Willis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Willis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Willis moves out of range of the leg kick from Winky.
Winky throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Winky has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Willis misses the shot to the body.
Winky lands a jab-cross combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Winky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Willis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Winky sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Willis somewhat.

Willis loads up on a big right hand but Winky slips the punch.
Willis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Willis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Willis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Winky kicks Willis off and gets back to his feet.
Winky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Willis moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Winky. Willis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Winky fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Winky 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Winky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Willis.
Winky lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Winky.

Winky changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Willis throws a strike but Winky avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Willis is looking to work some ground and pound but Winky has wrist control.

Willis throws a strike but Winky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Winky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Willis lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Winky or not.
Winky lands a nice uppercut.

Winky lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Willis to his knees! Winky keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
