The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson throws a leg kick
and Moran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Stevenson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Stevenson has control of Moran's left arm, preventing Moran from doing any damage.

Jake Stevenson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moran sneaks out the side door and pushes Stevenson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Stevenson feints and as Moran raises his hands in defense, Stevenson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stevenson uses his free foot to push down on Moran's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Moran.

Well Stevenson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
