Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devlin throws a right hand that Laranja ducks under and follows up with a left that Laranja also avoids with ease.
Devlin swats away the attempt to clinch by Laranja.
Some wild striking there from Devlin.
Laranja tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Laranja is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Devlin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Devlin wants it to stay on the feet.
Devlin is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Laranja fails with an attempt to clinch.
Devlin is looking for a counter combo.
Laranja tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Devlin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Devlin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Devlin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Laranja tries to counter with a clinch but Devlin shakes him off and moves away.

Devlin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kean Devlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Laranja.

The fight stays on the outside here - Laranja looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Laranja gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Devlin counters with a three punch combo that has Laranja backing up. Laranja nods at Devlin to acknowledge the strikes.
Devlin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Devlin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Devlin stuns Laranja with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A left and a right from Devlin both land. Nice combination.
Laranja is rocked!

Laranja is still on wobbly legs! Can Devlin finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Devlin throws a shot to the body.
Laranja doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Laranja seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Laranja doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Devlin counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Laranja! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
