Tran has chosen Blockbuster Night Part 1 as his entrance music. Andrew Tran looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Buster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Tran!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buster shoots in and bounces Tran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Tran looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Buster looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Tran wants to stand and escape but Buster is having none of it.
Tran looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Buster trying to control but Tran is working from the bottom.
Buster scoring with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buster sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buster lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Buster lands a couple of digs.
Buster makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Buster wants to control from the top but Tran keeps moving.
Buster is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Buster is working Tran over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Buster scoring with punches to the head and body.
Buster works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Buster is nestled in close to Tran, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Buster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Buster is putting a hurting on Tran here, landing some big shots from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buster works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tran is trying to escape the position but Buster is controlling the position.

Buster looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Buster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tran keeps working.
Buster passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Tran!
Buster scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tran is bucking up trying to escape but Buster cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Tran is rocked!
Buster lands a big shot to the head and Tran winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). James Buster!
Andrew Tran spoke after the fight, saying 'Well It Wasn't My Best Fight, But I Will Train Hard To Get Back In The Game And Win My Next Fight.'.
