Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Kulakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Danky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kulakov's entrance music is Lube-Shparu. A fine choice. Dom Danky will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 9 - 2, fighting out of New York, Dom Danky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulakov misses with a wild body shot.
A little jabbing left from Danky on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kulakov's corner calls for a 1-2. Kulakov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Danky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Danky slips under a jab.
Danky moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kulakov throws a right and a left that Danky avoids nicely.
Kulakov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Danky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kulakov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danky tries to advance to mount but Kulakov denies him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kulakov wants to get back to his feet but Danky drags him back down.
Danky working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Danky fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Danky looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kulakov is trying to stand up.
My spies in The Beast inform me that Danky has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Kulakov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Danky has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kulakov's face.
Danky has control of Kulakov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kulakov regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Danky unloads with some shots from mount but Kulakov bucks and avoids them well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Danky is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Kulakov goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Danky!
