Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Bob is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Richards! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bob blocks the body kick.
A big right from Bob misses. Richards closes the distance but Bob moves to the side and Bob counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Richards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bob throws out the jab. Bob looks for a takedown but Richards sprawls well. Richards throws a head kick that misses. Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Richards uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richards gets a clinch. Richards lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Bob pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bob doesn't succeed with the takedown and Richards counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bob pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Richards is keeping the position for now. Richards pulls Bob in to control the position. Richards is continuing to stall. Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Richards is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Richards seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richards is trying to keep Bob in close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Richards dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bob. That did some damage! Bob tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Richards swivels and escapes. Sean Richards is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bob looks to throw the jab but Richards is out of range. A jab from Bob misses. Richards dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bob. That did some damage! Richards has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Richards slips a jab from Bob. Richards lunges at Bob with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bob's hand. Richards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bob manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Richards lands with a shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Richards goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Richards moves in looking to clinch but Bob pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richards moves away. Richards slips under a jab. Bob misses with a wild combination.

Richards closes the distance looking to clinch and Bob counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Richards! Bob is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Richards knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Richards is looking to regain half guard here but Bob keeps moving and retains side control. Richards stops Bob from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richards keeps working. Richards wants to control but Bob postures up. Bob controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob tries to move into full mount but can't pass Richards's legs. Richards is not content to let Bob control the position. Richards prevents Bob from improving position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Bob dominated that round. That's time! Bob's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A big right from Bob misses. Richards cracks Bob with a good jab. Richards ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bob misses with a looping left. Richards tries to clinch and Bob counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bob wants to control from the top but Richards keeps moving. Bob trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Richards manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Richards looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richards stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bob is on top in guard.
Bob tries to free his leg and advance position but Richards is retaining full guard. Bob trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. Billy Bob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Richards controls Bob momentarily but Bob frees himself. Richards is controlling Bob's posture. Richards wants to sweep here but Bob controlling him for the moment. Bob content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. Bob postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Richards is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bob, into his guard. Bob pulls Richards in close to his closed guard and prevents Richards from doing any damage or advancing position. Bob is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Richards is aware though and is defending well. Richards content to stall in guard here. Richards wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richards is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bob lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bob controls from within his opponent's guard. Richards not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Richards seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Richards working a defensive guard here.
Richards has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Richards controls Bob momentarily but Bob frees himself.

Bob changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richards tries to avoid it but Bob manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richards to the ground. Richards escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Some wild striking there from Bob.
Richards is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Bob misses with a straight right. Richards fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Bob dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bob throws a jab when Richards was well out of range. Richards uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bob. Danga de danga de dang - Bob scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Sean Richards has been cut. Richards tries to clinch but Bob moves out of range. Richards rushes Bob and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Richards pushes Bob back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Bob can't break the clinch.
Richards lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bob backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bob creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bob wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Bob is working Richards over against the cage. Richards controlling the action here for a moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bob lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richards swings wildly with an uppercut but Bob uses good head movement to avoid it. Bob is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bob misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Richards is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Richards with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Richards tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bob wants to break the clinch but can't.
Richards misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bob.
Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Richards is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Richards lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Billy Bob has been cut. Bob's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice body kick there by Richards. Bob misses the shot to the body. Bob steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richards.

Richards ducked under it nicely. Bob throws a series of punches but Richards avoids them all with ease. Billy Bob is winning the standup battle so far. Richards feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bob's calf. Richards lands with a cross. Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Richards displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bob throws out the jab. Bob dips to his left and cracks Richards with an uppercut! Bob misses with a looping right. A left lands for Richards. Richards scores with a spinning back kick! Richards slips a jab from Bob.

Bob misses with an uppercut. Richards moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Richards takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Richards is looking to clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Richards.
Richards darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage. Richards throws an elbow that misses.
Richards throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bobs head. Bob breaks from the clinch.
Richards closes the distance and clinches. Bob blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bob has had enough of the clinch but Richards keeps him there for the moment. Richards is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bob blocking some punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob manages to break the clinch.
Richards misses with a wild combination.
Richards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bob throws a right and a left that both miss. Richards steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bob. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Richards, as that shot connected.
Richards wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Both fighters circling a little - Richards finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. That kick from Richards tenderised Bob's leg. Bob is trying to keep his angry face on. Richards is looking to clinch but Bob is avoiding it.
Bob bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Richards scores with a kick to the body.
Sean Richards has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richards lands a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Sean Richards comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bob has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
