Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jan Tischler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alexio Silva acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tischler takes one to the side of the head.
Tischler moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Alexio Silva has been cut.

Tischler rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Tischler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We've been informed that Silva has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Tischler lands a right hand that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tischler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

After the fight, Alexio Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
