Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chavez Sr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Phenomenon" by Thousand Foot Krutch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chavez Sr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Evans! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans takes one to the chin there. Sr connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Alex Evans has been cut. Sr slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sr. Evans dodges the punch combination from Sr.
Sr lands a two punch combo.
Sr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Evans on the side of the head.
Evans is rocked! Evans misses with a combination
and Sr counters with a lovely straight right hand! Evans is still on wobbly legs! Can Sr finish him? Sr keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sr lands a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sr misses with a wild combination.
Sr tries to bum rush Evans with a series of wild strikes but Evans uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sr misses with a few strikes there.
Evans seems to have recovered his senses. Evans misses with a double jab
and Sr counters with a lovely shot to the body. Evans looks gassed! Sr throws a nice looking combination but Evans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Evans throws a combination that misses enabling Sr to counter with a crisp jab. Sr cracks Evans with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Evans swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sr counters with a right hand to the body. Sr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Evans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sr displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sr throws a right and a left that both miss. Sr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Evans looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sr lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Evans sprawling to the canvas. Sr follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Evans hang on? Sr passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Evans! Sr looking to secure an arm triangle but Evans defends it well. Sr quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Sr but it's paid off an Evans is forced to tap! Nice work by Sr.
