Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Epeli Nailatikau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nailatikau might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Number of the Bollywood. Epeli Nailatikau has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Epeli Nailatikau! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Jaa! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaa shoots for a takedown but Nailatikau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jaa tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nailatikau definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jaa avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nailatikau lands a right hook to the body.
Nailatikau is looking to slow Jaa down with leg kicks. Nailatikau misses with a hook. Jaa ducked under it nicely. Jaa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nailatikau. Nailatikau obviously looking to wear him down.
Jaa avoids a kick to the body.
Nailatikau throws a shot from downtown. Jaa moves away and avoids it. Jaa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nailatikau avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jaa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nailatikau! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jaa goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nailatikau has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jaa but great work by Nailatikau.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jaa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nailatikau asserts his dominance and retains side control. Nailatikau decides to take the fight back to the feet. Epeli Nailatikau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jaa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nailatikau counters with a low kick, right behind Jaa 's knee. Epeli Nailatikau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Jaa. Jaa fails with a takedown attempt. Nailatikau moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jaa fails with a takedown attempt. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nailatikau lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jaa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jaa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Nailatikau throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jaa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jaa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Nailatikau scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Nailatikau's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nailatikau duly obliges. Nailatikau throws a hook but Jaa avoids it easily. Nailatikau fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nailatikau stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nailatikau wants it to stay on the feet. Nailatikau connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jaa checks a low kick from Nailatikau. Jaa with the counter takedown but Nailatikau avoids it easily. Nailatikau swings for the body but Jaa moves out of range.
Epeli Nailatikau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nailatikau is looking to slow Jaa down with leg kicks. Nailatikau connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaa shoots in but Nailatikau avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jaa takes one to the side of the head.
Jaa is still on wobbly legs! Can Nailatikau finish him? Nailatikau throws an overhand right that drops Jaa like a sack of potatoes! Nailatikau dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Epeli Nailatikau! During a confident post fight interview, Epeli Nailatikau thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
