Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmond Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chung Bruce has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chung Bruce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Edmond Dantes! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dantes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bruce counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bruce. Bruce is stalling in the full guard. Bruce connects with a couple of short punches. Bruce with a nice head shot there. Bruce wants to get up but he can't break Dantes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dantes is looking for a triangle but Bruce pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dantes controls Bruce momentarily but Bruce frees himself. Bruce in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruce with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bruce will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bruce throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bruce tries to stand but Dantes is controlling from the bottom. Bruce cracks Dantes with a solid left hand. Dantes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dantes has a closed guard, preventing Bruce from standing up. Bruce content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bruce chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce preventing the sweep. Bruce trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dantes wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bruce manages to pass to side control. Bruce stands up out of the half guard. Dantes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bruce counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bruce. Dantes is looking to stand back up but Bruce counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dantes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bruce decides to stand up. Bruce fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dantes avoids it really well and circles away. Bruce fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dantes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A right-left combo lands from Dantes. Bruce gets a takedown into half guard. Dantes trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dantes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dantes. Bruce tries to free his leg and advance position but Dantes is retaining full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dantes has his feet on Bruce's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dantes. Bruce defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dantes. Bruce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dantes looks winded! Dantes shoots in looking for a takedown. Bruce tries to sprawl out of it but Dantes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bruce manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chung Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edmond Dantes. Dantes tries for a takedown but Bruce circles away easily and Bruce counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bruce stalling the fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chung Bruce dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dantes gets caught napping as Bruce dives in and scores a takedown. Dantes manages to retain guard. Dantes manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Bruce breaks from the clinch.
Bruce drives through with a takedown into Dantes's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Dantes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bruce stopping the sweep attempt from Dantes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dantes is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dantes's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bruce wants to stand but Dantes is controlling the position. Dantes landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dantes postures up and lands a big shot to Bruce's brow. Dantes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bruce had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dantes defends it easily. Dantes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bruce is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bruce throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dantes advances to half guard. Dantes prevents Bruce from standing back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dantes moves into range and clinches up with Bruce. A bit of stalling here from Bruce.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dantes tries to circle away but Bruce has him pinned against the cage. Dantes is looking to take this one to the mat. Dantes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bruce is defending well. Dantes fails to pull guard.

Dantes throws a punch but it's blocked by Bruce. Dantes tries to break free but Bruce pushes him back against the cage. Dantes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bruce pulls him back up using the underhooks. Dantes is breathing heavily. Bruce pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dantes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bruce looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dantes! Dantes is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bruce decides to stand back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bruce shoots in for a takedown but Dantes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick from Dantes lands but Bruce takes it in his stride. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edmond Dantes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Dantes closes the distance and clinches. Dantes lands a nice shot to the body. Dantes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bruce after a bit of a struggle. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Bruce as Dantes tries to tie him up. Dantes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dantes looking for a takedown. Dantes is trying to pull guard but Bruce has him pressed against the cage. Chung Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Dantes looking to score a takedown here. Bruce is defending well but Dantes drives through and ends up in Bruce's guard. Dantes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bruce's guard. Dantes won't allow Bruce to sweep him here. Dantes is looking to stand up but Bruce won't let him. Dantes wants to control from the top but Bruce keeps moving. Bruce is looking to stand up but Dantes isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bruce lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Bruce lands a couple of elbows. Dantes is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bruce presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Dantes misses with a knee to the head. Bruce prevents the takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Come on Bruce - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dantes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Come on Bruce - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Chung Bruce. Dantes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bruce avoids it really well and circles away. Bruce tries to counter with a takedown but Dantes is quick to defend against it. Dantes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dantes instigates a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dantes has a couple of punches blocked by Bruce.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Edmond Dantes. I think Dantes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
